Threads through Time - A Karen Haas Presentation
Long, long ago, humans discovered the magic of twisting fibers into yarn, then weaving these yarns into a myriad of articles both useful and beautiful.  Karen Haas relishes playing with both fibers and words and has fashioned a program designed to delight the eye and ear. Get caught in a web of enjoyment as Karen blends traditional tales with demonstrations of various spinning and weaving techniques. You’ll even have a chance to try your hand at some of these arts, both ancient and new. This program was made possible through a generous donation to Senior University.
2:00 – 3:30 pm, MJ Wicks Wellness Center
