Monday Meditation
Clear your mind and release your stress with our meditation class led by Michael Miller. The first meeting is Monday, November 4, at 2 p.m. and meets weekly.
Holiday Scams
Learn tips to avoid being a victim of fraud this season. Mari Ferrer with Seniors Helping Seniors will speak on holiday scams Monday, November 4, at 12:30 p.m.
Beginning Spanish
Our new Spanish language instructor, Karla Moschetti, begins weekly classes Friday, November 1, at 1 p.m.
Travel Presentation
We have trips scheduled in 2025 to Cuba and Iceland. A representative from Premier World Travel will be here Tuesday, November 5, at 1 p.m. with details.
A Gnome of Your Own
Build a gnome to take home Monday, November 18, at 1 p.m. with instructor Kathy Weaver.
Medicare Questions?
We have two events planned to help explain upcoming changes in Medicare. Advisor Raymond Arce will be here Tuesday, November 5, at 11 a.m. to talk about “The ABCs and D of Medicare.” Broker Laurie Humphreys returns for a Q-and-A session Monday, November 11, at 1 p.m.
Home Designs for Retirement
Hear about modifications that make staying in your own home safer and more comfortable. This workshop, hosted by the Washington chapter of the National Aging in Place Council, will be Thursday, November 7, at 1:30 p.m.

Happy fall y’all!! Just a friendly reminder that The Lighthouse Activity Center will be closed Thursday the 28th for Thanksgiving. We will resume normal business hours on Friday the 29th of November. Our calendar is packed full of our regular program activities this month as well as a couple of special events.
