A “Super” Souper Bowl with Love – The 6th Annual!
With the combination of the rising cost of living and fixed incomes, many seniors are facing food insecurity. Approximately 47% of the participants at the Pt. Defiance ~ Ruston Senior Center live below the poverty level. With its limited food bank, in 2025 the Senior Center distributed over 20,539 pounds of food to local seniors—a 26% increase over 2024.
This year is the 6th Annual “Souper Bowl With Love” and with the Seahawks playing, it will be a remarkable celebration! Franke Tobey Jones and Philanthropy would like to fill 100 take home meal bags with soup, crackers, and a valentine to distribute at the Senior Center before the big game.
