Best Sex Ever After Menopause  
While perimenopause and menopause are increasingly discussed, the sexual health needs of post-menopausal women are often overlooked. Bremerton resident Dr. Carol Remz, an 80-year-old grandmother, author, and passionate advocate for senior sex positivity, is changing that with her groundbreaking new book, "Best Sex Ever After Menopause," published by W. Brand Publishing. Carol will be speaking at Senior University to celebrate World Sexual Health Day. Her engaging presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session. Books will be available at the presentation for purchase and signing. This program was made possible through a generous donation to Senior University.

Chinese Mah Jong 
Learn the rich history and intricate rules of traditional Chinese Mahjong in this hands-on class, where you'll learn tile recognition, gameplay strategies, and cultural etiquette. Whether you're a beginner or brushing up your skills, you'll enjoy an engaging introduction to this classic game of skill and luck. Please sign up, space is limited.

Tales From the Time of Lewis and Clark– A Living History Performance by Karen Haas 
While Lewis and Clark were exploring, day-to-day life went on for the rest of the country. Imagine the excitement when the Corps of Discovery returned safely to Saint Louis in September of 1806. Join Karen as she brings this momentous time to life. Clad in the clothing of the era, she portrays Mrs. Calvin Adams, wife of a Saint Louis tavern keeper, who is eager to share the latest stories and gossip heard around town. This program was made possible through a generous donation to Senior University.

Lakewold Gardens    
Join Senior University for a self-guided trip through Lakewold Gardens. Lakewold Gardens provides intentional encounters with the life-changing power of nature, fostering peace, creativity, and healing in our communities. In serving as a resource for the educational and environmental interests of the community, Lakewold will ensure visitors, volunteers, and staff a culture of learning within an ecologically sound environment. The cost is $10.00 per person for admission to the gardens.

Pretty Gritty Lecture: SS Pacific 
It remains one of the worst maritime disasters in Pacific Northwest history, but it has an interesting connection to the city of Tacoma. Let’s dive in.

Senior University at Franke Tobey Jones provides a wealth of lifelong learning programs for people 55 or better, for both campus residents and seniors in the surrounding community. This educational and cultural program designed for seniors is unique to Pierce County. Senior University offers the opportunity to build skills, explore new subjects and enjoy the learning process with others.   Lecturers and instructors are experts in their fields hailing from local colleges and universities, businesses, not-for-profits and cultural organizations, along with others who have retired with rich career experiences. Most classes are offered free of charge as a public service to the Tacoma-Pierce County community.
